“Queen Victoria Never Partied like This!” read the statement by the City of Mississauga when announcing long weekend celebrations.

Mississauga Celebration Square (MCS) will hold a dinosaur themed event that will be kicked off by a pep rally. The official start to the summer will also feature a dinosaur, robot and confetti themed dance party featuring music by DJ Andre 905.

The prehistoric meets high-tech will be delivered by the MCS Robot who is a life-sized dinosaur that goes by the name of Russel T. Wrecks. Dot from CBC Kids will also be on hand for story time with the youngsters.

Attendees will also be able to check out a Dino petting zoo, 25-ft prehistoric rock-climbing wall, and digging in the Dino Excavation Pits.

Onsite food trucks will be selling all kinds of food during the FREE event that runs from 12:00 noon – 4:00 pm, May 21.
