The Wheels & Tracks in Motion event is returning to the Simcoe County Museum June 9 – 10, treating the entire family to live historical equipment demonstrations.
Attendees will get an up close look at various historical equipment, including rock-crushers, earth-movers, steam shovels, and road graders. The event also includes live demonstrations conducted by skilled operators located throughout museum grounds.
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is the result of continued collaboration with the Historical Construction Equipment Association, and also features people-mover rides. Anyone wanting lunch will either have to bring their own or purchase something from the BBQ on-site.
Museum galleries and indoor displays, including a Meccano building models that will also be on hand during the two-day event.
Museum Members and Preschoolers can get in for free; but Adults have to pay $8; Students and Seniors $6; and Children $5.
