The YRP Hold-Up Unit are also looking for three suspects involved in the robbery of a mobile phone store.

The incident occurred Monday, February 25 after 8:30 p.m., at a store located on Markham Road and 16th Avenue.

Nobody was injured in the incident.

The investigation thus far has led police to believe that three men entered the store, grabbed and restrained a customer and an employee with zip ties. One of the suspects had a knife and was demanding the phones, which they got and fled the store with.

All three suspects are male, 18 – 25 years-old and were wearing black clothes with their faces covered by masks.

The YRP Hold-Up Unit are again reminding local businesses to keep their surveillance equipment up-to-date. It is very difficult to arrest and prosecute suspects without reliable images to identify them with.

Anyone with information can reach the YRP Hold-Up Unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 6631, or leave an anonymous tip online at www.1800222tips.com.
